    Magnificent Pair of Japanese Meiji Satsuma Vases by Chin Jukan. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
    Magnificent pair of Japanese Meiji Period (1868-1912) of Satsuma vases, attributed to Chin Jukan. The vases are fine and detailed and depict low relieved enameling and fine gilding. One vase has a scene of a seated man talking to a servant, a boy looking at an old man with a smoke on his palm, and an ikebana vase. Another vase has a scene of an old man next to a coral, a vase, a boy with a fan behind a man, next to hibachi with various dishes around it, mountains and a man with a boy with a calligraphy brush and scrolls; there are various ikebana decorations on the background.
    Both vase have rich and fine gold and enamel decorations on top and bottom.
